Our neighbors in many parts of Louisiana have experienced flooding that is responsible for loss of life, major losses of property and significant impacts on safety. With more than 10 years of experience in community-focused disaster relief and recovery, Foundation for Louisiana (FFL) stands ready to support our flooded communities as they face the ongoing devastation with our Strategic Flood Response Fund. Your financial support will strengthen local, on-the-ground groups in high-impact disaster response — now and through the critical long-term disaster planning and response phase. We know from experience that this approach creates more enduring outcomes for Louisiana families. Learn more here.
We also learned after Hurricane Katrina that a critical need for small businesses was a quick infusion of cash to reopen as quickly as possible. NOLA Media Group has pledged $100,000 to that cause for the One Louisiana Fund. We hope others will join us. Through this fund we will help support the newly created Louisiana Small Business Rebirth Fund in Baton Rouge, to get money into the hands of worthy small businesses as quickly as possible. These and other funds, along with other ways you can help, are easily accessible through our newly revamped and relaunched donate page on our website:
